I've noticed that nullmode sometimes throws up
the "Value too large" error,
eg as below in the feynmf package.
I presume this is because the dpi/magnification is set too high.
It works perfectly if a 300dpi printer is specified,
eg "\mode=laserwriter".
I wonder if it would make sense to specify
a lower resolution in nullmode?
